This month was a filled with a lot of rewatches and rereads alongside listening to lots of George Michael (the sadness I have about never being able to see this man in concert) and whatever Spotify playlist I’ve been using to help me fall asleep. Unfortunately, these mournful tunes are now permeating my on-repeat playlist, not particularly helpful when you are driving. As mentioned in this piece I’ve been rewatching The Loudest Voice (Stan) which has led to lots of documentaries about Fox, Trump and the whole situation that is. Four Corners (ABC) have some great episodes. I’m still on my Agatha Christie kick, something that happens every so often. I will only read the Poirot stories though, it’s something I decided long ago and something I will stick with. Shetland is back in June which I’m excited about because as discussed previously, I need a show on the go. I find it very comforting. I’m rewatching Parks and Rec in dribs and drabs, I’m at a point in my life where I think Rob Lowe’s Chris Trager is the best character.
Now, not media related, but something I’m enjoying consuming, Cinnamon Scrolls. They’re really having a moment and I’m just so happy about it.
What have you been consuming and are you into cinnamon scrolls?
My TikTok feed of online astrologer rivalry has slowly been turning into The Law of Gestation. Oh and border collie content.
Sorry to brag, but I did see him in concert. Remind me to share the story.
